Nowadays, especially in big cities with all types of activities and distractions, everyone is always pulled in so many directions with so many things to do and we end up expending great amounts of energy just to live. As a result, our bodies yearn for rest and rehabilitation. Yoga Nidra is the perfect remedy for these conditions.
We will begin the workshop with some chanting and some breath work (pranayama) and then for the rest of the class ( about 35-40 minutes) you will be laying down while I guide you through your body to completely relax. Yoga Nidra is a form of active meditation. Active meditation is a very easy type of mediation to practice. No experience is needed, just come relax and listen. Active meditation is when the practitioner hones the ability to follow instructions regarding many different kinds of action without becoming distracted and while remaining totally awake and alert. You will leave feeling relaxed, at peace, and refreshed.

No prior experience required.
